Project Overview:

This project was executed to debottleneck and expand the existing TBBPA production plant at Jordan Bromine Company at 2018. The scope involved comprehensive upgrades and modifications to improve overall plant capacity and efficiency, including the expansion and upsizing of process equipment, enhancement of utility systems, and integration of new equipment within the existing operational plant.

The works included extensive revisions to piping systems, steel structures, electrical systems, and instrumentation to accommodate increased equipment size and weight, while maintaining most of the existing plant layout with necessary modifications.

Scope of Work Highlights:

  • Over 180 tons of structural steel works
  • More than 120 tons of process equipment installation
  • Over 30,000 inches of piping covering: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Alloy, Hastelloy, Lined, and FRB materials
  • Fabrication and installation of approximately 18 tons of pipe supports
  • Supply of all required heavy lifting equipment, including 400-ton mobile crane
  • Over 700 m² of insulation and approximately 10,000 meters of insulation and cladding works
  • Execution of full sandblasting and painting works
  • Deployment of more than 300 personnel during peak execution phases

Execution Duration:

Fast-track execution completed within 58 days, ensuring efficient turnaround during plant outage conditions.
